Wine Tasting

Our history

Let yourself be won over by our delicacies surrounded by our library of labels. In the winter we’ve always got a warm fire going.

THE VINERIA

A special place for wine-tasting

At the heart of the Enoteca Meucci is an elegant and comfortable tasting room furnished in traditional Tuscan style. Choose wines from our well-stocked library and take the time to explore their aromas and bouquets. Ample parking is available adjacent to the Vineria.

Sit down and relax at one of our tables and let yourself be mesmerized by the vast number of wines we have available to you, all of which are on display. On chilly days, we even light a fire in our fireplace, which makes the setting even cozier.

TASTINGS AT THE ENOTECA OR AT YOUR OWN RESIDENCE

Take a journey through the world of Tuscan and Italian wines with Enoteca Meucci i

If you’re interested in learning more about the wines of Italy and where they are made, Enoteca Meucci is the right place for you. Our sommelier, Massimiliano Silvestrini, is ready to guide you through this fascinating journey and will happily tell you all about the wines that we include in the tasting.

You can either enjoy this experience at our enoteca or in your hotel, villa, agritourism, or apartment. Tastings at a location of your choice require a minimum of 8 people. We offer scheduled tastings at the Enoteca from 11-12:30 and from 17-18:30.

Listed below are some of the wine-tastings that we have created for our guests, all of which are accompanied by platters of locally produced cheeses and charcuterie

CORTONA SYRAH

Syrah, the main cultivar present in Cortona, is presented here through a range of wines, starting with a bubbly, followed by a fresh rosè, and concluding with three traditional red wines: aged in steel, oak barrels, and even in amphora. This tasting includes wines from the best producers in the area.
